Did anyone else find the conclusion of "Kill Oscar" anti-climactic, as well as anti-climatic? (heh heh) Steve and Jaime get chased around by a few fembots who blow out on the dam and then that's IT?
And here they've been so worried about Oscar, but they don't even say hello to him, or 'are you okay?' or 'gee, sure glad we didn't have to off you' or anything?!
Also, I've never understood what good it would do to have Oscar killed in the first place. Assuming he's been tortured and given up information already, how does killing him help? Anyone have any notions?
I agree with you on it being a downer of an ending - I wouldn't have minded if they offed Franklin in the end. Something dramatic for Gods sake.
S
Well, I did like the bit where he said "Please, leave me my dignity!", so I"m glad they didn't off him for that, but otherwise, yeah, a little drama!
Yes, well...Lee DID manage to get his shirt off!!

But yes, I agree, Jaime could have at least carried Franklin out. That would have been fun.
BUT...THERE WAS KISSING!!

I agree that the whole ending is disappointing. I just recently watched these episodes again and I found it unbelievable that Jaime would walk straight past Oscar. After being so worried (even Franklin mentions it), nearly killing herself and begging Steve not to let them kill Oscar she doesn't show any sign of relief or happiness that he's alive and well. It is an anti-climax after 3 episodes. One of those lovely Jaime and Oscar reunion hugs (like Deadly Ringer) would have been great!
I am SO with you on that Lola!
I'm trying to figure out a way to give a more climatic ending for part 3.... even if I have to do a George Lucas and CGI some kind of fembot vs Btonic brawl on the damn.
Having a Jaime and Oscar reunion hug shouldn't be too hard to insert.
I can off Franklin, but I'd rather respect the canon.
I've always thought that episode 1 is by far the best segment of this story. I do prefer episode 3 to 2 though.

Would you really do that? You are wonderful!!

It would make the ending so much better.
