From "Jaime's Mother"
One of the best guest artists. I think may be right in saying that she was a big film actress in the 50s - but feel free to fill me in on that.
I love that story anyway, but her line when Helen asks if it really is Ann, she replies solomnly "the shattered remains". I love that line.
Great performance, but her hair was crazy!
Her hair was HUGE!
Even for the 70's LOL
And that movement!
LOL

From pg. 307 in _The Bionic Book_ by H.J. Pilato:
"I was real impressed with Barbara Rush," says Lindsay of the guest actress [in the episode _Jaime's Mother]. "I thought she cried, faster, longer and better than anyone I ever worked with. When it was time for her to shed tears, she was like, Bam...just right there with it. I remember being in awe. She had to do it over and over and over again. I was feeling so bad for her because there was one thing after another going wrong."
Thanks for the info.
Any other interesting quotes - I'd love to get that book.

It's like Diedre Hall, she was quoted to have said to her director something to the effect, "tell me when and how far you want [the tears] to run down my cheek..."
Amazing!

This book is really interesting for BW and SMDM lovers... There are so many informations about the series, the characters and especially from the cast... I bought it almost 3 months ago and I read all of it...
It's a must have item for BW and SMDM lovers...

Here's a recent-ish picture of Barbara from 2006 with her neice, actress Carolyn Hennesy ("General Hospital") and actor, Jim Brochu.
