In the pilot movie, Steve killed a few Arabs with a grenade.
In the third pilot movie "Solid Gold Kidnapping", he dove through a windsheild and broke the driver's neck.
In "Day of the Robot", he pushed a car on it's side crushing a gun man.
In "Nuclear Alert", he kicked open the side door of a jet plane causing the black arms dealers to get sucked out.
Is there anymore ?
No takers on this one guys?
Im curious myself.

Hmmmm....decisions, decisions....do I write my HR paper or do I watch two seasons worth of SMDM....hmmmmmmm

Well, he killed Eric Braeden and untold others in "Wine, Women and War" (nuclear blast). He killed at least three people in "Population: Zero" (a thug who was guarding him and two men in a truck). He killed two guys when he pushed their car over a cliff in "Dr. Wells is Missing." And it's presumed that he killed some villains in the "The Last of the Fourth of Julys," when he programmed the laser to self-destruct.
Great work Shoeshine boy!!!
That was just the 1st season.
I remember him killing several more people on season 2.
I think it was 3rd season when the ABC Network Censors put a stop to it.
Atleast I'm assuming it was network that put a stoip to it.
He killed two more people in Operation Firefly by tricking them into running into quicksand.

OMG!! Was that epi hysterical or what?? Did you see that alligator??? I thought it was some sort of spy cam that the enemy sent out after Steve. You know, to inspect the area for intruders...
NO!! They meant it to be a killer croc! It looked like one of those dinos from Land of the Lost, the 70's tv show!! I'd about broke something laughing when it got Steve by the arm.
Up until then, I loved that epi! Well, still do, I guess even spy shows need a little comic relief thrown in

Yes, Season Three you had the big fight at the end of Hocus-Pocus where all the bad guys end up floundering in the swimming pool! Everyone started talking about how the show was "nerfed." Also at the end of Season 2 you had Jaime's debut, which finally brought a female audience in, while the show's popularity made it a prime target for "family values" folks. It was complaints from parents mostly that tipped it.

Hey, the killer-croc rules.

So it was angry parents that put a stop to Steve Austin's killings ?
What I don't understand is.... if alot of kids are already enjoying SMDM as it was during the first few seasons then why change the format to cater to the kids?
It makes no sense because the kids already like it just the way it is and but by changing the format to make it more appealing for the kiddies you risk turning off the adult viewrs... which is probably what happened and led to cancellation.
Studio execs are such idiots.
But it did go on for another THREE years after that, did it not? By anyone's estimation that show had a good run.
Do any of you notice a qualitative difference between the first two seasons and the later ones?
As stiff as they were back in the day its a wonder they didn't stop it right off the top
messyhead: I certainly do, but I have to admit the unavailability of later seasons leaves it on my memory. I do have some third and fourth season stuff, however, and they confirm my memory.
I was into the episodes that featured international intrigue, that diminished too. Oliver Nelson's passing hurt the music, an often overlooked ingredient that was as vital as slow motion photography to the show's "brand". I'd like to revisit the later stuff nonetheless. The telefilms, 3 of the first 4 episodes, and Season 2 are what I love most. Added to that are anything with both Steve and Jaime, and Bigfoot - maybe Death Probe, but it's been 25 years at least, it might not hold up.
