Where that guy could slow down his heartbeat...I remember Jaime running through tear gas/poison gas and the guy walking through it...

Any one else recognize the Halderstadt (spell??) place???
Jaime, tear gas gets in the eyes....tsk.
"....including someone as close to me as Darwin was to you..." EEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Love it!! Steve...always in Brussels...
"We're having couscous..."
I think the clip of Jaime going through the tear gas is a good one for you tube...BUT maybe the one of her hauling up Darwin out of the tank ...
Good show!! Awww...I'm gonna pull out BEA, maybe a little Kill O. Thanks Steven!!
It's kind of cool how Steve Austin is involved with this story without making an onscreen appearence.
Yeah, I liked how BW kept that connection alive.
I certainly liked the idea behind Biofeedback. Meditation has been a great tool for me.
The mind is a terrible thing to waste...

I don't quite get why she says she's so close to Steve when she barely even remembers him at this point. "Weren't you the kid I grew up with? Didn't I push you on a swing once? We were engaged? Well, what do you know!"

Well she does remember growing up with him, that must be a big connection, and she does have some feelings for him, she likes him a lot and he does mean a lot to her, makes sense.
I think they probably became good friends when Jaime was in the hospital after coming out of her coma and Steve helped her learn to use her bionics again. I'm sure Jaime was very grateful to him for that and appreciates how difficult it must have been for him to stick around and befriend her after she couldn't remember him. Steve's behavior was quite commendable. Most guys would have either bolted or if they weren't as emotionally stable as Steve, they may have went a little crazy over the situation. You know, stalking Jaime, beating up guys she went out with because he just couldn't accept the fact that she wasn't his girlfriend anymore. Steve was much to honorable to act like that.
Good point. He was downright saintly and it was very impressive. I can't imagine anyone really being that self sacrificial, but I guess that's why we have fiction - so we have something to live up to.

I like to think the locking of lips--and that being the extent of "sex" we got--a couple of times since The Return contributed to "being so close"... AND she's living with his parents!!
Helen said it best: We're family (made Jaime cry)
Jaime: Oh Helen! it's so good to be home!
Helen: there was nothing more that I hoped for you [to be my daughter-in-law]...either way I win, I still have you and Steve (something like that--that was in the carriage house, Welcome Home J.)
