From _The Bionic Book_ by H.J. Pilato, copyright 2007 by the author, BearManor Media, pg. 82:

"This unique segment happened to be one of three...for which Lindsay Wagner was personally responsible in getting produced." [The other two episodes are "Canyon of Death" and "On the Run."]

And from pg. 83:
"Approximately one year after BW was canceled, a 15-year-old runaway named Mary Vincent was hitchhiking in Modesto, California, picked up by low-life Lawrence Singleton, driven to an isolated cabin, raped, and left to die, with her arms completely severed from her body. "Biofeedback" was responsible for saving this remarkable girl's life, helping her to rehabilitate her physical and emotional being."

That is such an amazing story. It's great to see a photo of her - she looks fabulous!
Thanks for the info Nev. So I guess she must have been 13 when the show was aired? It's amazing that she managed to stem the flow of blood from having watched the episode. I doubt if I'd be able to do it, but I suppose as a child you're more accepting of these possibilities and as they say it's mind over matter.

Interesting point about Lindsay having input into the 3 stories (One from each season). I always thought she'd had some input into "Claws" as well - she does like animals.
It's an important story to know about. You are very welcome, Dr. Courtney.
I recently bought the book and last week I read about this story... I was impressed... Like Lindsay said: ..."my hair was standing up on the back of my neck." Mine too...

Did anybody else find it kind of gross that they kept showing the guy's heart beating inside his chest in that episode?
