Jaime and Steve team up with the alien colonists against their rebel group and the Sasquatch. The rebels tend to plunder Earth's natural resources by first tapping a volcano in Mexico which may have dire consequences for the entire west coast of the Americas.
PS .. I love the music when she jumps from the helicopter and runs to the complex!

And now for useless trivia: Nedlick says the aliens' drilling process needs to penetrate the mesosphere in the Earth's crust. The mesosphere is a layer of the atmosphere, not the Earth's crust.
