Ok so.... basically everyone here seems to have a story to tell and we all seem to owe something to Lindsay for the wonderful show shes given us, so id like to open up this thread for everyone to tell thier story and just tell everyone and Lindsay just how much she means to us and what you would say to her if you could.

You never know, she might see this.

I would say to her, Thank you for your smile, every time i see it it cheers me up a little. i'd say thank you for being so beautiful and i'd say thank you for doing The Bionic Woman cuz its given me so many happy moments, and lastly i'd say thank you for all the awesome clothes she wore on the show.

Dear Lindsay,

I want to thank you for a little show you did called "The Bionic Woman". I was just a kid when you did this show but gawd I loved it! I just loved everything about it .. aside from the brawn and brains qualities you added to the role .. you added heart.

I simply and totally and completely and entirely fell in love with the empathy you showed, the warmth you radiated, the humanity you displayed, the humor you emoted, and the .. what seemed to me at that time .. affection you poured on those around you ..

The simple fact is .. you seemed real to me! At least .. I wanted you to be real .. I know it was just a character on a show but you showed me something. You showed me what it was like to be kind .. you showed me what it was like to trust people .. and you showed me that being vulnerable was OK .. I needed that. Somehow .. only you .. were able to fill this huge emotional vacuum I felt as a kid .. and you filled it with lessons and principles that to this day have made me the man that I am.

So then .. simple principles evolved from that .. that now as an adult .. I cling to.

1) It is better to be kind than to be right
2) Dare trust people in the hopes that they respond to that
3) Reach out to people in need when you can help them with no thoughts on what is in it for you
4) Laugh .. keep things light .. and stay true to your heart
5) Be nice to people .. that is how people are nice back
6) For every Lisa Galloway's in our lives, there is a pain that only you can reach
7) It's rarely about me .. for every Bigfoot attack on my life .. there is a reason why he is fighting me .. I should not take it personally ... for every Dejon Caper acts of sabotage of my life .. I know that at the other end is a weak person trying to find his way .. for every Thief that robs me .. is a lonely desperate man lost in fear .. for every cold and calculating ALEX entity that attacks me (man, machine , or agency), there IS a way to stop them!
8) You must ALWAYS stick by friends
9) Even when someone uses you .. and pretends that they are your friend .. or your mother .. there is a story only you can unravel and bring light to .. my role is to bring that truth to the surface
10) Being in pain or getting hurt is NEVER license to inflict pain to others ..
11) Sometimes my job is to help those who cant help themselves whether its a dog, a teenage king, a troubled secretary, a burdened boss, an orphan child, a clueless student, a troubled school bus driver, a stalked lion, a beauty queen wanna-be, a struggling but kind lady wrestler, a group of well intentioned nuns, or even a withdrawn child .. and that I should do it with my whole heart!

and I could go on ..

You showed me and taught me lessons .. no one ELSE in real life did.

Simply said.

PS .. all of that aside .. gawd I loved the bionics .. I must have fantasized a million times about having bioinics! LOL ..this imaginary strength you had helped me tap into my own strengths .. What I found was that strength is a matter of heart not muscles .. and oh ya .. and I love the series opening theme song !! Don't believe me?? check out the download section of this site!!

I don't think that I could ever put into words what she has meant to me as an actress and as a humanitarian. Truly, for the first time in my life, I'm at a loss for words!

Max... I feel exactly as you!!! I learnt a lot as a human being when I was a teenager and watched the Bionic Woman. Lindsay played a very important role in my life when I was a teenager. When I grew up she taught me a lot with her films too. Unfortunately, in Brazil her films are very difficult to find...

Here is my message:

I read a lot about you at Internet and I discovered how remarkable you are… You’re a wonderful human being. You use your movies to pass important messages to people. It was the first time I heard about a movie star worried about people’s problems like domestic violence, child abuse, and many others. I think that Jaime was like you’re: kind, sweet and very humanitarian. She wasn’t just a character, she was an extension of your beliefs… You care about people and you’re committed with it. I’m very proud to be your fan!!!

I read about The Peace Makers Community and I just signed to receive mailings about it. It’s a wonderful project!!! I think that the people of the World need this kind of work. I wish you a lot of success with your work!!! I live in a country which needs works like this. Here we have a lot of cases of domestic violence, child abuse, poverty and many others… I hope that someday your project could come to Brazil and help this people.

I’d like you to know that you played a very important role in my life, because I believe in the same things that you believe.

The World is needing people like you!!! Thanks!!!
