I would like to be the first to take a moment in this time and space that we have created together to congratulate Barack Obama on his election to President of the United States.
We are all children that grew in the favor of changing times and new ideas. If that weren't true our admiration for Science Fiction and the wonderful brain childs behind it would not exist.
I am excited for the change. And I have hope for the future.
I have not been able to say that for a long time.
My best to our President Elect and his guidance of our future,
Steven Lutz
And the rest of the world is rejoicing too...or at least I can speak for my tiny part of it.

It's the same on this side of the Atlantic! A BBC radio announcer said this morning '
We have a new president!' and then stopped when he realized what he had said. It is true though that whoever is elected as US President has an effect on the rest of the world. I'm definitely looking forward to a change from Bush and anyone like him. It's certainly a result to celebrate.
"But will they remember this TOMMOROW ? "
Best wishes and success to the new US President Barack Obama!

I just plan to watch what happens next. Recovery will take a long time. International damages made by Bush will not be cleaned up easily or quickly.
I stick to hope for the future.
Good luck President Obama. You'll need it. and the world seems to be behind you.

I think the American people (and the rest of us) are sooo ready for change. I am not sure they will forget yesterday .. and they WILL remember tomorrow .. until the promised changes come ...
Best wishes to your new President my friends from THE United States of America.

No. You are not. I was being diplomatic. Obama's track record in Chicago in the last few years make me think NO ONE is out of the woods yet. I think the international enthusiasm speaks more to Bush's departure than O's arrival.
I've already said way too much.

Hence , will they remember TOMMOROW - nevermind promises.. time will tell the outcome of those promises as usual. That is why history is so important for our youth, in order for them to understand their present, they need to know what happened . Just like past world events in our recent past influenced our today!
