A clever use of wardrobe if you ask me.
Like you're an expert of Jaime's wardrobe I was certain that you've noticed this... Do you think it was intentional?
Andrea
Yes i do, its a technique called Mise En Scene.

Thanx!
Well i've always been into tv from the 70's even when i was a kid, my mum grew up during that era so she knows all about that stuff.
This year i got more into it cuz of the crappy new bionic woman and i remembered watching some episodes of TBW as a kid and liking it so i went and bought the box sets and its kinda grew from there.
LeatherTuscadero...
Your site is awesome!!! I visited it may times... Especially because you're too young... I'm as curious as Alex to know where you found so much information...

I like to find out everything about the stuff i like, i like to know all the stories and the secrets, so i read around and look on the internet and stuff.
You're great!!!
It's very good to know that someone who wasn't been born in 1970's is so interested in a TV series of that time...
My sister who's only 2 years younger than me says that I'm old-fashioned... and you're much younger than us are so interested... this is awesome...

you're making me all embaressed!
Well i think 70's tv is much better than some of the !@#$ we get nowadays.

I also love Charlies Angels and Wonder Woman too, plus Doctor Who was at its best in the 70s.
Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garrett, Kris Munroe, Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Sarah Jane Smith and Jaime Sommers are the 6 greatest women ever on tv!!

You are so RIGHT !!
I thought I was going to vomit after seeing the new BW.. thank GOD that is over and done with !!!
The 70's culture is not that distant from our present time, in terms of fashion, very influenced to the point that we are experincing a rennaissance of the 70's especially in fashion.
TBW examples :
*
Deadly Ringer *
-the white/ Beige suite outfit with the same coloured fidora
( influenced by ANNE KLEIN reborn in a similar way by PRADA and GUCCI in 2008 )
*
Doomsday is Tommorow*
- The Khaki pants suit worn in the 1st part again with the fidora portraying the part of the physicists Margarite Pare is redone over and over again and can find similar suites from H&M stores and ZARA to name a few ..these retailors are worldwide.
and finally !!
*
Scarves *
That we loved so much as a trademark of Jamie Sommers is BACK! Was gone for a while and only the elderly wore them .. TODAY ,textures and colours are all fresh and thus scarves are very in and very modern .
Briefly, well taillored close to the body clothing for both men and woman - " A LINE " as well as " Imperial - Hellenistic " silouettes has been and is continuing to be the trend in womanswear, which is a direct descent of the 70's! Because of the 70's , fashion became less regimented with rules of what to wear to more casual -freedom of expression attitude.
VOILA! C'EST TOU POUR LE MOMENT !!!
Economy and world events always incluences trends especially in todays world climate.
I can understand your interest LeatherTuscadero on the 70's and Andrea you are not old fashioned what-so -ever in fact you are very "IN " !

What episode is this photograph from? Anyone know? Jaime's wearing a scarf. Oops. Double loaded post on accident and forgot to add photograph.

Thanks for the fashion examples... I did, like you said "realized that The 70's culture is not that distant from our present time, in terms of fashion, very influenced to the point that we are experincing a rennaissance of the 70's especially in fashion." I like this rennaissance, because I love that kind of fashion!!!
Thanks for saying that I'm IN!!!
