I think it's bullshit, why should i have to give them money for writing thier name on a picture?
It's an extra (easy) income for them off course ...
And they're forcing no one to buy their autographs , if you go to these mega fairs you know what to expect . Since Ebay and other auction sites saw the light of day some of these autograph prices went way up . The actors know a lot of these pics are being sold there for sometimes big bucks sooner or later . Not all of them ask money though , there are exceptions ... Smile
I agree with you too!!! If you go to these places you have to know that you'll pay for everything!!!

As a big fan of Lindsay Wagner ever since I can remember, I went to Memorabilia yesterday for the first time to met her after years of being a fan and wondering what she would be like in person. She was everything I thought she would be! Smile

We managed to chat for around 10 minutes. I took my own photo of her to sign and she said that she had never seen that photo of her before (I hope to post it soon!) She couldn't remember where/when it was from and I told her it was around "Bionic Ever After" and "Once In A Lifetime". She replied well "I make them, you watch them!" Smile She said it was also a little scary when people bring their own things to sign incase the pen leaks/smudges etc!

It was "The Bionic Woman" that introduced me to Lindsay but I am a fan of all her work and we chatted about her other roles in "Passions", "A Peaceable, Kingdom" and "Scruples" amongst others (she was also surprised to learn, when I told her, that "Scruples" had been released on DVD in Australia!) Lindsay also told me about her son's clothing line e-store which is opening soon and about her forthcoming workshops.

On the whole, it was on of the best experiences I have ever had. I never thought I would get the opportunity to meet her. I still can't believe it. She is the ultimate actress to me.

Her PA(?!) that was with her was also very nice. It was the greatest day. Cool
I missed to meet her in LA last October when I was there... I was with my mom and she doesn't speak English so I couldn't let her alone... I was crazy to meet her and to participate of her workshops... I dream of meeting her since I was 13 years old... Perhaps someday!!!

Congratulations to you...

Thank you Andrea Smile

I still can't believe I've met her and it's been two days Big Grin

I took the photo straight to the frame shop when I got home to have it mounted and framed. I have to wait a week before I can pick it up and I'm counting down the days but soon as I get it back I hope to post a picture of it on here to share it with you and the rest of this fantastic forum! Wink

Welcome aboard, Cragger80! :-) How exciting for you! Thank you for sharing about your experience meeting Lindsay!
Thank you for the welcome nevs1989! I had been a 'guest' on this website for a while and my meeting Lindsay encouraged me to register, mainly to share this experience with people who are interested!

I found this forum by accident and I'm really glad I did as I have found so much - the downloads, episodes of season 3 to watch, links to other websites.

I'm still finding my way around the forum and currently in the process of reading as many threads as I can, mainly so I don't repeat previous ones posted and also because I have a lot to ask so expect a few threads coming your way Smile
Welcome Cragger!!!

You'll have a lot of fun here... It's very good to meet people who has the same interest as you...

Welcome Cragger,

Lucky you !!! Cool I also remember her other roles , especially " Scruples " she played the part of Billy Ikehorn ( originally Willemina Winthrop of conservative Boston ), very well, quiet different from what we were accustomed in seeing her play in TBW .. I must have been 11 years old back when Scruples first got televised.

Did Lindsey or anyone else at the fan fair mention why NBC decided to cancel such a successful show in 1978? Because of the never ending repeat demand , you would think that they would have re considered.

Welcome aboard once again !
