There's just no question that Lindsay Wagner has some special magic. That's what strikes me most when I watch old episodes of The Bionic Woman. It's a rare combination of qualities - she's drop dead gorgeous, and every girl wants to be like her, every guy wants to get with her - but yet she's so natural, so goofy and so human that you still feel she's just any old normal person - someone you would really enjoy hanging out with.

When I try to think of a male equivalent - somebody that virtually everyone on the planet likes - the first guy I think of is James Garner in the Rockford Files. But there just aren't that many actors around of either sex who have that special 'thing'.

Anyone else feel like gushing?

Lindsay did a fabulous job in bringing Jaime to life and keeping her human. Her Emmy was well-deserved, and it was a cruel injustice that she was booed when she won!

I don't think she's drop dead gorgeous but she's got that pretty wholesome, girl next door look and she's very charming.

One time she was signing a poster for a fan that was 4 feet by 4 feet that had been hanging in Tower Records, NY. She crawled across it and said "how funny, Im crawling on my own boob".

Bennett can’t help but makes comparisons with the new version that debuted on US television this autumn and, as he observes, is “fading rapidly.”
“The reason,” says the man who worked on the original, “is the memories of Lindsay Wagner playing Jaime Sommers with such humanity. It was the girl next door cursed with this ability and pressed into service for her country...The quality of the original series was in its leading lady. To this day Lindsay exudes the same charm in everything she does. It was quite different from The Six Million Dollar Man in texture and everything else, which was good.”

I say they're blue...many say hazel. They aren't Lee's color, his are ocean blue, her's are more steele blue.

Her eyes have always been listed as hazel/green in her bios, but they have looked blue alot over the years and even brown sometimes.

I think that her eyes are blue... you can see it in many episodes...

I always wanted to be gorgeous like her... but unfortunately it was impossible... I'm brunette, short and not skinny like she is... and I don't have blue eyes...

Hey - there's no formula for gorgeousness! I'm SURE you have your charms. Don't forget that network executives didn't think Lindsay was gorgeous enough to carry her own show either!
