I just watched this one and literally cringed through Jaime's entire rendition of "Feelings". Oh, whoa, whoa indeed! And that log she split at the beginning? Like a prop from a high school play.

However I did like her crazy coded Chinese proverb message to Oscar when she was up on stage. I thought it was funny and clever - though I really doubt she would have won the pageant after that! Not one word about bringing peace and love to the earth and just trying to be a better person.

I think Lee Majors' singing is worse. I cringe everytime I hear "Sweet Jaime".

No question - Lee Majors' singing is horrific. I can't decide whether I should laugh or cry or hurl when I hear "Sweet Jaime".

They should have let Oscar and Rudy do the singing. Couldn't have been worse, and it would have been funnier...

The "Feelings" song was not one take. It was clipped together.

She DIDNT win - in the end it was that brunettes name on the card.

Nah, if Oscar sang "Sweet Jaime", it would have given the Jaime and Oscar shippers more ammo.

Oh yeah - that's right. She didn't win. I thought she was way too nice to that brunette cow in the end too.

I agree - and we get to hear it twice! - (and to think Lindsay used to be a singer!)
Funnily enough, she sings in each season. This one, "Road To Nashville" and "Sanctuary Earth" - where her singing seems to be quite good.

As for the contest - Jaime's easily the best looking one there.

I love the coded message when the compere says "That doesn't make any sense" - no way would he say that to her!

I love that little song she sings in Sanctuary Earth

Anyone know if it was ever recorded outside of the series?

"Jim Parriott on Lindsay's 'Feelings': 'You usually pre-record a song, and then the actor or singer lip-syncs to it, while filming. We did that. Then she heard the pre-recorded version, and wanted to do it live, which didn't work, and we had to redo it, backwards, with her lips moving. We had cut the vocal out of the track. 'The whole recording session was a fiasco' admits Wagner. 'I cringe every time I think of it.'"
