I've always wondered why the robot Oscar would make that scary face while trying to kill Steve, as he doesn't have any emotions.

When Steve wrastles him to the ground and pulls out the power pack out of his store-mannequin head it cracks me up every time. Whoops, Dr. Franklin - do you think that might have been a design flaw?!

Then best of all John Houseman's maniacal cackle at the very end! Was there ever a bigger snot than John Houseman? He doesn't say his lines, he spits them.

I really miss him.
I agree - was such a unique fellow in the art.

Oh I'm great at nitpicking.

The mean nasty look on robot Oscar's face didn't bother me because after all, they're programable as beautiful (or in Oscar's case handsome) and as deadly as the good Dr. Franklin chooses to make them.

What bothered me about the fight was it was too tamed when compared to the first Oscar robot fight Steve had with Dr. Dolenz's robot. They really went at each other.

The laughter from the Lynda robot was too out of character for both John Houseman, the actor and Dr. Franklin, the character.

Another thing that always bothered me was the way Steve went about on how he infiltrated Franklin's base.

First, he practically flies his helicopter over the entire complex. Why did he do that?

Franklin and his henchmen doesn't need their high tech cameras to know that there's a chopper flying over the building. They could hear the thing flying just from being inside the building.

Then Steve lands/parks the helicopter only about 100 yards from Franklin's base. WTF ?

The man has got bionic telescopic vision and he could run about 65 mph.

He could have at least landed the helicopter several miles away and sneak up and in on Franklin's complex at bionic speed.

I guess Steve didn't consider Jaime's warning about fembots being stronger than bionics nor did he remember his previous encounters with the Dolenz robots.

He just felt confident enough to fly over the base and park his helicopter right next to it.
Well you're right - WTF!

The thing about Robot Oscar's expression is that he was out of contact with Franklin at the time - apparently he had a bit of a mind of his own!

But on the other hand - Franklin's voice coming out of the Lynda fembot was classic! But you're right - Houseman didn't quite sound like he had his heart in that laugh.

Are you referring to Steve's poor infiltration tactics? LOL

Well Rudy's microwave emitter was used to prevent the robot from sending transmissions back to Franklin's monitor.

He specifically stated that it wouldn't deactivate the robot.

However, I still wonder what good that has done or what Rudy was trying to accomplish considering that Franklin has already preprogramed it to kill Jaime. The robot was still carrying out it's program while fighting Steve .... with his nasty look on it's face and all.

What's even worse is that scene was parodied on Austin Powers with the Elizabeth Hurly fembot.
