I still watch it once every few months on DVD. It's a classic.

Although I own the entire sequel TV series "Beyond Westworld", I've never seen the sequel starring Peter Fonda. Sad

BTW Did I mention that Martin Balsam is the best Rudy? Big Grin

RE: Revolving Rudys
Way to Go -D- !!!!! You get the Beer this time!

Now tell em about FUTUREWORLD with Peter Fonda and how the Robots in that movie were based off the Franklin Robots or Fembots?

So -D- which do you prefer? Dolenz Robots or Franklin Robots? Before you ask I like the Dolenz Robots best, it's those creapy eyes of the Franklin Robots that I don't prefer.

It ain't gettin done just sittin there lookin at it!

RE: Revolving Rudys
I never saw Futureworld yet. I want to but I can't find the DVD anywhere.

As for the bots. My theory is the Franklinbots are based on the Stepford Wives and the Dolenzbots were based on Westworld.

Also I compared dates and Westworld was released 10 weeks before Day of the Robot first aired.

I wonder if Warner Brothers ever tried to sue Universal for that.

As for what bots I like better:

The Dolenzbots came first. They were badass but I find the Franklinbots to be more creepier.

RE: Revolving Rudys
I can't decide. Sad

I guess I'll lean just a bit more towards the fembots because I found them to be creepier.

RE: Revolving Rudys
O.K. leaning is an answer. Your right the Fembots are creepier than just the simple Dolenz bots and that's where I like it because I prefer the more robotic looking bot.

Still both have to have the face mask knocked off to reveal the robot underneath.

RE: Revolving Rudys
For me - Martin E. Brooks is Dr. Rudy Wells as I've seen him in the role most but I liked Alan Oppenheimer. However, to me, he will forever be known as the bone shaking voice of Skeletor in Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links.

You people don't know what is good for you. Martin Balsam is the best Rudy.

Why can't you people clearly see that simple fact?
