The Bionic Woman

	Welcome it is! I am very proud to be able to share with you this archive site for The Bionic Woman. Throughout the 1970’s we were introduced to many wonderful and diverse super hero characters. I know many people who collected posters, clippings, and scrapbooks, not to mention the number of merchandise items that followed many of the series. Unfortunately we were not living with the technology that we have today, and much of the information surrounding these great memories is lost. Now with the help of advanced internet tools, video compression codecs, archival quality audio resampling and restoration programs … you get the idea, we are able to go back and collect what we can and give it a permanent home in ‘cyberspace’. No more yellowing pages and worn out video tapes.
	It would be impossible to gather it all. I knew that from the onset and simply had to accept that as one of the limitations that time without careful collection puts on archiving. I only know so much, and as time moves forward, limited becomes the number of people that remember as well. For that reason, OBW was designed to be an interactive website. I will depend upon you the visitor to contribute your memories and knowledge, and as a team we will build the best archive possible for The Bionic Woman. I want to take some time to point out the various features that have been implemented here at OBW. First and foremost I have to stress that a high bandwidth internet connection is going to be in your favor while visiting, and best viewing will probably be achieved through the use of the Firefox browser. OBW will function on other browsers, but your experience here could be degraded.
	The message board and chat room are free to use as much as you would like. Post memories, images, and thoughts on anything . They are there to help build the foundation of this ‘house’ to hold a family. The gallery is not open to fan submissions, though you are certainly welcome to post appropriate images in the message board. The gallery is strictly for image cuts from the series itself. As we develop a following there will be scheduled chats in the chartroom. You do not have to wait for such an event, use the chat as much as you would like. The episode list in just that, a brief description of each with links to viewing opportunities. OBW will never host advertising not directly related to The Bionic Woman. The server space and bandwidth are paid for by private donation. We are not here to sell you anything. As products become available you may be offered purchase link opportunities, but OBW is completely non-profit.
	With the exception of any material you make public through your choice, OBW will not share or distribute any private information submitted to this website. Your privacy is very important to us and will be respected. Lastly, thank you. Though it is a great opportunity for me to be able to create this space and share it with you, it means nothing if it doesn’t provide something for you. That said no question or comment regarding the site is unwarranted. If you need to contact me, do so! The form is there for just that. This is your space too.
